12. TRAILER 2D Breakdown

I think it's hard to process what goes into each shot of an animated film when you're only seeing the final polished visuals

So to pull back the curtain a little I've taken a section of the film we already have here on the blog, the trailer and recut it with the original layouts and animation as they look before we go into painting grading and fx.

Introducing Phil: The TRAILER

Hi my name is Paul Ó Muiris Creator/Director of The Ledge End of Phil and this is my personal production blog for the film. From now on every Friday I'll be posting a chapter in the story of how myself and a team of very talented individuals created The Ledge End of Phil (from accounting)

The posts will cover everything from the original inspiration for the film through the funding process, to the script, the design work, animation, compositing, all the way through to it being handed over a year later.

More importantly though it gives me the opportunity to introduce you to the members of my fantastic crew, every one of whom was an integral part of the finished film.

So all that said, I suppose we might aswell start with the trailer!
